  • She and her husband, Jeff, have three amazing kids - their youngest just graduated from college.
  • Has a Master of Arts degree in Philosophy, Ethics, Classical Literature and Culture from Knox Seminary.
  • Has a MBA in International Finance and a BBA in International Finance and Marketing from the University of Miami.
  • Holds a Florda Professional Teacher Certification in Spanish K-12 and Business Education 6-12; Stanford University Mathematical Mindsets; Freedoms Foundation of Valley Forge Graduate Professional Development Certifications.
  • Is an Apple Certified Teacher, and is Adobe Creative certified.
  • Has been an educator for over sixteen years, and has developed various curricula and taught for the Lower School, Middle School, and High School levels.
  • Taught at Westminster Academy for 14 years in various roles as a PK-High School World Language and Classical Language Teacher, PK4-1st Grade Technology Instructor, 4th-6th Grade FLL Robotics Team Coach, Upper School Faculty Advisor, and a PK Teaching Assistant.
  • Was Teacher of the Year in 2014.
  • Has lived in South Bend, Indiana where she and her husband worked at the University of Notre Dame, and taught part-time at a school in an underserved community in South Bend.
  • Was the University of Notre Dame Alumni Association's Club Programs Manager for three years.
  • Founder and CEO of MidMoms and More, LLC - whose mission is to serve, encourage and support United States Naval Academy parents.
  • Is the local U.S. Naval Academy's admissions liaison volunteer, serving as a Blue and Gold Officer.
  • Has a passion for horses, loves to travel and enjoys reading, sewing, photography, and painting. Hasn't met a roller coaster she doesn't like, and particpates in all outdoor activities, especially water skiing, kayaking, and hiking.
  • Speaks fluent Spanish, French, and Latin.
  • Has been at Bethany Christian School since 2022.
