• Graduated from College of Charleston in 1991 with a B.S. in Elementary Education.
• In 1992, married Dave Mahoney and moved to South Florida.
• Taught for Broward County Public Schools for 3 1/2 years at Harbordale Elementary, Pines Lakes Elementary, and Chapel Trail Elementary.
• Has two children — Mary Elizabeth and Wells.
• Served on the BCS Board of Directors for 3 years, and children attended Bethany.
• Previously taught at Bethany Christian as an elementary teacher for 5 years.
• Joined the faculty at Westminster Academy in 2007 as an elementary teacher, and taught there for 13 years.
• Is happy to be returning “home” to Bethany in the 2020/2021 academic year.
