STEM Lab

In the STEM room (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) we encourage students to dream about a scientific-technological vocation from an early age, providing them with the necessary skills to solve real problems and successfully face the future. Students begin with research-based assignments and work together to solve problems in an innovative way, using their curiosity and creativity and applying knowledge and skills to find solutions.

The STEM approach to education encourages creative thinking as students learn the foundational disciplines. It motivates young people to generate new technologies and ideas. BCS is affiliated with Project Lead the Way (PLTW), which prepares teachers and gives them the necessary tools to best equip their students. Each student has an account with PLTW and can view unit modules and interactive activities online via their iPad/Chromebook.
