We are delighted that you are interested in giving us the opportunity to assist you in your child's education. Established in 1980, Bethany Christian School is a ministry of Rio Vista Community Church that serves students ranging from Daycare through Grade 8. 

We are located in the Rio Vista neighborhood of downtown Fort Lauderdale, Florida and currently have more than 300 students. Bethany is well known for offering academic excellence in a nurturing, Christ-centered environment.

Small class sizes coupled with individualized attention ensure that our students experience academic, emotional, and spiritual excellence.

NEW FAMILY OPEN ENROLLMENT DEC. 6, 2024

Our Admissions website is designed to make the application process as efficient as possible using our online application system. We require families to apply online and submit the $150 non-refundable application fee as it simplifies submission and provides parents a tool for tracking their progress. PLEASE NOTE: You will need to submit an online application from a computer and “allow pop-ups.” The application form is not cellular/mobile-friendly.

Summer provides many opportunities for students and their families to enjoy unforgettable books together. Bethany students entering Kindergarten through 8th Grade are asked to read from the summer reading lists developed for their upcoming grade.

Creating a habit of lifelong reading is one of the greatest gifts we can give our children.  Establishing this habit early, and nurturing it throughout their school years, is critical to their success in life.  We want our students to have a fun and happy summer while pursuing a book for enjoyment at the same time!  Happy reading!

BOBCAT BOWL

BOBCAT BOWL SUCCESS!

THANK YOU to our event committee, parents, volunteers, and staff who came together to make this year’s 10th Anniversary Bobcat Bowl a huge success!

The night was full of fun and memories as our community came together to raise money for our school! Each team competed in a special night of games before meeting at the end point for the annual dinner and auction! Congratulations to “Little Team on the Prairie (1880s)” for taking home first place!

We are excited to share that we met AND exceeded our goal of raising $275,000!

What is the Bobcat Bowl?! This annual event combines fun with function as our community comes together to raise money for our school! Be sure to join us in 2025-26 for our next Bobcat Bowl!
